Excitement fills the air as we proudly announce our recognition as finalists in not just one, but two categories at the Bristol Life Awards, Civic and Health Wellbeing. This honour is a testament to our unwavering commitment to making a positive difference in our community and beyond. The nomination comes as a result of the hard work and impact of a number of our initiatives and services.

Firstly, Swim:ED, our flagship swimming education programme has aligned itself with the nationwide mission to tackle ineffective swim education. Through our innovative approaches and dedication, we’ve enabled transformative changes in the delivery of swimming, reinforcing our belief that this life skill is vital for all students leaving primary school to learn.

Furthermore, the introduction of our Progressive Kids wraparound care service has been a significant milestone in our pursuit of delivering greater access to high quality childcare facilities. By instilling values of wellbeing, physical activity, creativity, and discovery at the centre of our work, we’re laying the foundation for a brighter, happier and healthier generation of children.

Beyond our programmes of delivery, the general growth of our business has been recognised by the judges. We continue to strive to positively impact every participant we work with which is field by our passion to continuously improve the physical education, physical activity and sports engagement rates across our community.

Being recognised as finalists in these categories not only pays dividends for our whole team’s hard work but also inspires us to continue with our commitment to creating meaningful change. As we eagerly await the awards night, we extend our heartfelt gratitude to everyone who has supported us on this remarkable journey and wish everyone who has been shortlisted as a finalist the very best of luck.

Together, we celebrate this achievement and look forward to continuing our work, one meaningful initiative at a time.
