We believe that an active Extended School Activities (ESA) programme is essential to providing more breadth and depth to the extended school day.
We know that parents are working longer and teachers have added pressures – so why not let Progressive Sports complement your school day by including a range of Extended School Activities.
Our aim is to ensure that all children are able to have opportunities to engage in a wide range of activities outside of the normal school day. All children have a natural curiosity to try different things, and we aim to meet their curiosity by offering a wide and diverse menu of activities.
The perfect way to wake a child’s body and mind is with a 30/45 minute session before school. Physical activity in the morning improves a child’s concentration and focus for the day ahead.
A supervised activity for children for 30 minutes during the lunch break.
We supply a member of staff who will actively engage with the children throughout lunch time, and make sure lunches are fun and active.
A safe and fun environment for 60 minutes after school where children have the opportunity to explore and develop their skills in a range of sports.
Choose from over 20 different sports and activities: fencing, streetdance, dodgeball, tchoukball, football, kwik cricket, tag rugby, cheerleading, hockey,
basketball, non-contact boxing, archery, korfball, volleyball, tennis, handball, frisbee, gymnastics, multi-skills, multi-sports, zumba and much more...

“My 2 youngest daughters thoroughly enjoyed themselves at Picknals. I’ve used Progressive Sports for my eldest daughter for years. Always consistently good, easy to book, really friendly staff. Always happy to leave my girls in the knowledge that they are well cared for and also have a great time.”
“Progressive Sports are a great company to work for everybody is so friendly and approachable. They made me feel welcome from the first day and now 4 years into my role I have progressed through the ranks and I’m now part of the management team.”
“Progressive Sports have assessed the pupils’ abilities in differing skills and this has allowed us to create a programme of support to develop areas of weakness but also to extend and challenge our more able pupils.”
“My boys have just done 3 weeks over the summer and they have LOVED it!! They are 11 and 9. They look forward to going every day and I’ve never had to argue with them in the morning because they love going. Makes my life easier as a working mommy. The activities are different daily and also weekly. All of the coaches are fab and you can tell they love being around the children. Like knowing that my boys are active all summer and meeting new friends their own age. Defo recommend!!”
