Why not get your children involved in the World Cup this year by doing some lessons on it. Below are some resource for you to use with the children, you may need to change depending on the year group and some sessions maybe a little to hard.

You could read these out to the children and get them to make notes maybe turn into a quiz afterwards to see what they have remembered. Maybe pictures would be beneficial for younger children.
Play Football
You could hold your very own World Cup for the children allow them to play football in their PE sessions and then get to a game where they are all playing 5 a side and the winners of each game play each other. You could get the year 6’s to help referee the younger children.
Set up skills area’s for the children to learn new tricks with the football.
